People will just use flurry, barely lowers damage and just as effective, this will change nothing.

who cares?
stab stab stab, adren up, spike with flail?
flurry also works seeing how it only reduces the base damage and not the additional damage you do with attack skills, so your losing maybe 20 damage max, along with the black spider nerf, its not much really.
you guys just gotta spike smarter now -- now the gimmick takes at least a BIT more skill to play.
bye bye SpBoa, hey SpFlail -- or SpFlurry..or SpLF..or SpFrenzy.........or SpTG...

Good riddance.
At least till 'Sins find another IAS they can abuse for some retardedly powerful spike that'll get nerfed too.

As I said before, I only use BoA because...well the IAS was just too fun and it's little picture was pretty xD
now I just use my usual builds and...kill sins as usual. Dash or Expose Defenses fits the slot now :O ED is just a cover up, and just helps against those that are blocking. Siphon Speed was always my initiating hex. I did try Flurry for a bit but it just didn't feel the same. i was getting bored with the IAS anyway (i usually ended up being too key happy and hit it too soon)
But yay!

I can see sins getting crafty in the future. using skills like tiger stance, beserkers, tigers fury, flurry, flail, lightning reflexes, ect... Until then im gonna go laugh at sins.

Nerfing BoA is meaningless. Just use Lightning Reflexes, Flurry or Tigers Fury... problem solved.
I did a few tests... currently I found the following works best as a replacement for BoA:
- Tiger's Fury - You won't be able to use Shadow or Expose Def once it's used, but it works well.
- Flurry - Best choice - Damage loss isn't that much
- Lightning Reflexes - Speed increase and protection from 70% of attacks. But has a 30 sec recharge time which limits how often you can take advantage of the speed boost.

What people are missing is the damage reduced nerf to Black Spiders Strike. The nerf to that means often you can't do that last finishing blow to your target. They will be down to 10% health for sure.
But that still means they may be healed.

Well, good riddance to bad rubbish, I believe that is the correct saying to use. Yes, smarter people will start using other IASs like flurry etc, but most of the people who played this build where meta game nobodies who will spend too much time crying, they earnt it.

Hmm with the 3 nerfs altogether (black spider strike, BOA and shadow prison) I think it's quite enough now. They can spike less often and they do less damage. Sins should still be fearsome imo, as their only use lies in killing people fast, but they are less devastating then when the build was just invented. I like the idea of toning down instead of nerfing stuff into the grave. aNet's original strategy when it came to balance issues was just taking a sledgehammer and whack skills and builds into the ground. I'm quite glad they chose a more subtle approach.
